One of the reasons why people use WordPress is the seemingly unlimited numbers of open source plugins available.
This enables you to create a website and blog where visitors are engaged. Which is a key to success. It’s critical to create an experience that enables your web visitors to be easily entertained, engage and share your content with their network on the social networks as easily as possible.
This message is my first real post to the site. Essentially, I’d been looking for a means of making WordPress more accessible for non-techs. I GOOGLEd a bit and found this. At the end of the link, is a YouTube video, explaining exactly how to use an external program like Microsoft Word to create rich text for WordPress blog posts.
To demonstrate how amazing my discovery was, I took part of another useful post, simply copied and pasted it into the WordPress editor. I’ll let you (the reader) be the judge of how amazing this discovery is. As hoped, formatting, links, and graphics were preserved. By the way, I was able to add my own rich text attributes by centering the WordPress ‘W’ and by making the paragraph starting with: ‘All the plugins listed here are tested with WordPress 3.2.1’ adjusted to be a blockquote.
